Praboleslav (Ancient Boleslav town)
A spacious Chlum Natural Park is stretched between the towns Mladá Boleslav and Dobrovice. An ancient fortification is located here. Presently, the original settlement experiences a vast devastation resulting from four-wheelers rides (the riders are using the bumps – remains of ancient fortification for joyrides). KELTOI wants to build the tourist educational walking trail here, that would provide a sufficient amount of information to the visitors about the location in question – this measure could enhance its protection.
The aim of the project is the establishing of tourist educational walking trail dedicated to historical period of the Slavs´ inhabitation of the area, i.e. 8th – 10th century A.D. Three info boards should be located here: Board 1 – Šance location, Board 2 – Chloumek village centre, Board 3 Na Hrádku fortification. The total distance of the trail is 1,6 km. Also suitable for cyclists.
Marketing will be effected by printed info materials (a leaflet with the trail map, distributed in Info Centers in Mladá Boleslav and Dobrovice).
